The AHSNB, had hosted the film screening of an award-winning documentary What Flowers they Bloom followed by a panel discussion. Calvin Hwang, a Toronto-based filmmaker joined the panel. The documentary had been screened in Fredericton, Moncton and Saint John. It was also screened in Miramichi, Richibucto and Woodstock. At Miramichi’s event, a presentation on Block Online Hate, Unlock Resilience was also presented after the film screening. Both the filmmaker and the presenter on combatting online hate joined the panel discussion.

In 2025, the film screening of One of Ours was held in Fredericton. Jack Gin, the filmmaker was present at the event to take questions from the audience- on his journey to tell the story of Private Frederick Lee. Private Lee, a young soldier, born in Canada of Chinese heritage fought in France along with Canadian soldiers during World War 1. The story shows that Chinese Canadians were willing to fight and die for Canada even when Canada denied them full rights. It was the height of anti-Chinese sentiments.
