The Saint John Chapter is a community-based, non-profit chapter of the Asian Heritage Society of New Brunswick. We celebrate and promote the cultural heritage, art, and history of Asian Canadians while creating welcoming opportunities for people of all backgrounds to learn, participate, and connect.
Each May, the chapter organizes Asian Heritage Month activities throughout Greater Saint John. Programming has included opening ceremonies, cultural performances, culinary workshops, art exhibitions, multicultural markets, sporting activities, anti-racism events, and an Asian Heritage Cultural Gala.
Working with local cultural associations, artists, volunteers, libraries, community organizations, and municipalities, the chapter creates opportunities for education, collaboration, and meaningful cultural exchange.
Our goal is to recognize the contributions of Asian Canadians and help build a community where diversity is understood, respected, and celebrated.
